St.Thomas College of Arts and Science founded in 1999 has grown significantly in terms of physical infrastructure, Faculty and Departments, students’ strength and above all in public image as aninstitution of higher education. This impressive record of distinction in such a short span of its existence is unique and has few parallels.

At St.Thomas College we have always provided active support systems to encourage faculty and students. This has motivated Faculty and students of the College to accomplish excellent performance in curricular and extra-curricular activities. As part of this academic commitment we have now created a Placement Cell and Students’ Counselling Centre to attend to students’ needs.

As an important dimension of this development process, we are refurbishing the college website to be versatile to meet the expectations of the end-users. This is only a part of our institutional plan to connect our Departments, Library and Office with the state of the art application of Information, Communication Technology. The newly commissioned website of the college will enable Faculty, Students, Alumni, Management, Administrative Office, Government and University as well as the members of the public to access or send information using this facility.

At this juncture I wish to thank Mr.P.K.Davis,the Secretary of the College Board, for his initiative and support to commission website. Mr.P.Jayakumar and his team has been very resourceful to give suitable directions to the web designer to customize it to our needs.

I would therefore urge all concerned to actively use this website facility in order that this facility will bring forward maximum advantage.
